Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in finance, private equity or related fields, preferably in high-growth startups
- Proven ability to creatively solve complex problems in the face of ambiguity. Comfortable with being in the weeds and diving deep into the business, and also operating strategically
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a track record of delivering impactful projects
- Strong financial modeling capabilities
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and making data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives
- Desire for a broad scope of responsibilities, spanning various aspects of the business including operations, finance, and marketing
- Demonstrated bias for action and a relentless pursuit of results. Not afraid to have backbone or suggest new ideas to more senior leaders
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines

What the job involves
- Dandy is seeking a Director, Strategic Finance to partner with the Head of Finance in shaping and executing our strategic priorities
- This pivotal role involves leveraging financial insights to recommend and drive strategic initiatives, ultimately contributing to the company's growth trajectory
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance and other members of our executive team to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives aligned with company objectives
- Dive deep into areas of our business and figure out where we can set aggressive targets, and then work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute initiatives around those recommendations
- Facilitate collaboration across departments including operations, engineering, and product to drive strategic projects and external engagements. Be an advocate and stakeholder for the Finance team in those rooms
- Identify operational inefficiencies and devise scalable solutions to enhance business performance and market positioning
- Utilize advanced data analysis to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth
