Who you are
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Self-motivated, results-driven marketer who thrives in an evolving, dynamic setting
- 5+ years of experience in Field Marketing, Demand Generation, or ABM, with a strong track record of executing successful marketing programs, including events, direct mail, and digital campaigns
- Experience with Google Workspace, Salesforce, and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, or Eloqua)
- Decisive, agile, and iterative; able to shift seamlessly between strategy and execution
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, and corporate marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate marketing plans, event details, and results
- Ability to travel for key regional and national marketing events as needed
- 50% Travel Required
What the job involves
- DevRev is looking for a forward-thinking, passionate Field Marketing Manager to join our AMER Marketing team. This role can be based anywhere in the U.S., with a preference for Austin or Atlanta, and will report to the Head of Field Marketing
- This person will partner with our Enterprise Sales team across North America to drive pipeline generation for both current and new customers by developing, managing, executing, and tracking strategic demand generation programs
- Collaborate with Enterprise Sales Leadership and Customer Success Leadership to design, plan, execute, and measure impactful marketing programs that drive pipeline and revenue growth
- Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns to penetrate and expand within enterprise target accounts
- Plan and execute DevRev-hosted events, including executive roundtables, workshops, and user meetups, to drive customer expansion and uncover new opportunities
- Manage DevRev’s participation in third-party conferences, industry events, and executive dinners, ensuring strong follow-up and measurable ROI
- Partner with creative teams and external vendors to design and implement high-impact direct mail and ABM programs that generate pipeline
- Utilize contact acquisition tools and database marketing strategies to maximize event attendance and engagement
- Own and manage a quarterly marketing budget
- Share best practices and collaborate with other Field Marketing Managers and cross functional teams to drive program efficiencies and innovation
- Leverage systems and tools to analyze pipeline performance and optimize marketing efforts
Our take
DevRev helps developers build better products for customers through a platform that connects them to the revenue their applications generate. Their headless, dev-centric CRM hopes to help developers clock technical issues faster by showing more directly how customers use their products.
When the company emerged from stealth mode in 2021, they were already well backed by considerable funding and a highly experienced leadership team. Collating and usefully displaying customer feedback for developers, especially using AI and machine learning, is a tough nut to crack. So the DevRev has been savvy in front-loading talent and investment.
The founders’ previous venture Nutanix saw huge success, reaching Unicorn status before going public in 2016. Investors clearly hope for similar gains from DevRev and its team. This ambitious startup has already delivered the first iteration of what it hopes will become the largest global developer relations product.
