- The right candidate will be experienced in both field and channel marketing, with a solid understanding of the end-to-end marketing funnel, B2B sales cycles, and all aspects of marketing campaigns and marketing technologies
- 8+ years of B2B marketing experience; security and SaaS experience preferred
- German and English language expertise
- Proven track record of overseeing DACH Territory Marketing including developing plans and strategy - Eastern Europe a plus
- In-depth background of executing integrated marketing campaigns, demand generation programs, and events that drive leads, pipeline, and revenue for both direct and through partner sales
- Experienced at supporting and partnering with sales to meet or exceed pipeline and revenue targets
- Excellent communicator and team player
- Must have a strong background with tracking, analysis, and reporting effectiveness of marketing plans and initiatives supporting within region
- Ability to work independently, within a fast and complex environment
- Budget development and management
- Bachelor’s Degree; Marketing or related preferred

- The EMEA Field & Partner Marketing Team is seeking an experienced Sr Manager Field & Partner Marketing with a focus on lead generation and market awareness to help build our sales pipeline
- This person will take responsibility for the execution and success of our marketing programs (direct and through partner) in our Central Europe (DACH and Eastern Europe) region
- This role Is a high impact, visible role that will be responsible for creating, developing, and executing integrated marketing campaigns in the region to assist in generating net-new opportunities and drive opportunities from open to closed/won
- Soft skills, personality/culture profiles, and technical skills that aren’t necessarily required but desirable
- Develop and execute the prescriptive DACH territory marketing plan and strategy: Create brand awareness and actively contribute to pipeline and revenue
- Develop and implement the partner marketing strategy for the region
- Execute measurable integrated campaigns, ABM, demand generation programs, and events that drive results across the buyer’s journey
- Own metrics for success in the DACH territory: Track, measure, follow-up of every program
- Create impactful account-based marketing campaigns
- Working with partner marketing and the partner account managers, co-develop marketing plans and activities with key regional partners to deliver pipeline
- Collaborate with the Sales, and ADRs to create programs that contribute to “meetings booked” success
- Work cross functionally with internal teams including demand generation, marketing, product marketing, partner marketing, inside sales, finance, etc
- Conduct Campaign analysis and reporting on marketing KPIs across the buyers’ journey, and make data-centric recommendations to increase pipeline and revenue

Our take
Cybersecurity remains an ongoing battle, with evolving cyberthreats and ever-more determined cybercriminals, and major data breaches such as the SolarWinds hack have the potential to cause widespread disruption. Illumio is taking a different approach to most of the mainstream security companies, with a process called "microsegmentation". This makes it easier to guard companies from security breaches, and contain any breaches that occur.
Detection of viruses is no longer considered sufficient to keep companies and individuals safe. Illumio takes a “zero trust” approach, in which everything is viewed as suspicious, a similar approach to that which is used by the White House. The company operates at the cutting edge of microsegmentation, focusing on protecting cloud datacenters and workloads. With more and more companies moving to the cloud, this approach is crucial.
Illumio also protects endpoints, partnering with big players such as Citrix, Amazon Web Services, and Splunk. A collaboration with Appgate, a Zero Trust secure access company, delivers the industry's first integrated Zero Trust Network Access and Segmentation solution, which can reduce risk across hybrid infrastructure, and proves Illumio's dedication to innovating the space. Additionally, the company announced a Federal Risk and Authorisation Management Program (FedRAMP), which is tailored to assist federal agencies in reducing risk.
