Role
Who you are
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Ledger Staff Accountant to join our team
- The ideal candidate will have experience with general ledger accounting, treasury, accounts payable and month-end close.
- Staff Accountant with 1-2 years of experience in general ledger accounting and accounts payable
- Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system (Oracle, SAP)
- Good understanding of GAAP
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What the job involves
- Will report directly to the Senior Accounting Manager and be a key contributor to our growing accounting team
- Preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations for US and international subsidiaries
- Maintaining credit card access and booking credit card entries
- Entering international vendor invoices in the accounting system
- Keeping track of the vendor invoices files and payments electronically on our servers
- Managing the international AP inbox
- Ad hoc accounting projects and requests, as needed
