Role
Who you are
- 2 or more years of experience in a recruitment or HR role, a focus on sourcing or research
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse, Lever, or SmartRecruiters
- Proficiency in using LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media platforms for candidate sourcing
- Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and tools (e.g., social media recruiting, Boolean search).Basic knowledge of recruitment metrics and how to use data to inform sourcing strategies
- Competency in handling administrative tasks related to recruitment, such as scheduling interviews, coordinating travel arrangements for candidates, and maintaining recruitment records
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, A postgraduate degree and/or record of academic achievement is also desirable
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to build rapport quickly with people of diverse backgrounds and professional levels
- Proactive and Self-Motivated
- Collaborative Mindset Technologically Savvy: You are proficient in using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, and modern communication tools

What the job involves
- As a Talent Sourcer on our Talent Acquisition Team, you will own identification and engagement with potential candidates in order to support global hiring needs across all departments
- In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying and engaging with potential candidates, managing recruitment logistics, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Key objectives include streamlining candidate communications, scheduling interviews, managing recruitment data, and contributing to continuous improvement of our sourcing and recruitment strategies
- Regular collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers to develop and implement sourcing strategies that meet our company's talent acquisition needs
- Proactively identify and engage with potential candidates through various sourcing channels
- Maintain a pipeline of active and passive candidates for future hiring needs
- Use social media, job boards, Internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates
- Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand specific role requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance sourcing methodologies and recruitment processes
- Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics to ensure a smooth recruitment process
- Manage communication with candidates, providing information and updates regarding the recruitment process
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop sourcing strategies
- Assist in developing and maintaining recruitment metrics and reports
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience
- Maintain applicant tracking system, ensuring candidate information is up-to-date
- Assist in the preparation of job descriptions and posting jobs on various platforms
- Handle administrative tasks related to recruitment, including documentation and expense processing

Insurance plans and warranties are staples of a successful digital company, but setting them up is challenging. Businesses must compare and write contracts with insurance providers which require the expensive assistance of legal and financial teams, Add to this the cost of web designers who can embed the service online, and insurance and warranties quickly become unaffordable to smaller businesses.
Cover Genius provides end-to-end APIs called XCover and XClaim for embedding insurance and warranty plans onto online stores, preventing the business from having to compare, arrange and deploy insurance plans themselves. The company's policies are for any business, can be translated into over 40 languages, and are designed to be read easily without unnecessary jargon.
Whilst other insurtech companies offer similar services to Cover Genius, the company has uniquely focused on ensuring its plans are easily readable, translatable, and dynamically priced based on personal requirements. Although the company initially aimed to facilitate insurance and warranty plans for smaller businesses, it also partners with large enterprises such as Ryanair, Amazon, and eBay. In 2024 it secured impressive Series E funding off the back of a year where it achieved 107% year-on-year growth.
