Role
Who you are
- You have a Masters Degree in accounting (e.g., Chartered Accountant, DCG/DSCG) from a business school, an engineering school or the university
- You have at least 5 years of experience, and 3 of those in a startup or in an accounting/audit firm
- You are fluent in both English and French
- Experience in the SaaS and healthcare sectors is a plus
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and preparation of Balance Sheets, P&L statements, and Cash Flow Statements
- Familiarity with standard accounting software such as SAGE, Oracle NetSuite, etc
- Proficiency in productivity tools like Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.)
- Preferable knowledge of Spendesk, Agicap, Salesforce, etc
- You have an entrepreneurial attitude and can combine hands-on assignments with strategic thinking
- You have good interpersonal skills and can work closely as a business partner with operational managers
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with autonomy and attention to detail
- You enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Strong work ethic & daily act with integrity, honesty and fairness

What the job involves
- Reporting to Anaïs, our Head of Finance, and acting as stakeholder, you will be in charge of all accounting tasks and will support financial and operational reporting and planning in a SaaS company
- You will be part of the Finance team, reporting to the Head of Finance, in a fast-growing environment with a high volume of invoicing
- Oversee and participate in B2B invoicing and invoicing for healthcare professionals
- Verify, record, and process supplier invoices using Spendesk
- Prepare administrative declarations
- Perform monthly closing and reporting: P&L, Cash Flow, Activity Report, SaaS KPIs
- Manage the financial and operational reporting process to provide reliable monthly insights into the company’s actual and forecasted performance, including cash position
- Oversee cash management via Agicap
- Interact with the American accounting firm
- Participate in the budgeting process in close coordination with operational teams
- Conduct annual financial closing and prepare financial statements
- Coordinate operational teams to compile our R&D tax credit (CIR) file and assist with various grant projects
- Implement and optimize new financial and control tools and processes with the support of our automation consultant (e.g., invoicing, monthly reporting)
- Handle other administrative tasks (filing, archiving, etc.)
- At Implicity, you will have a weekly meeting with your manager, to help you succeed in your mission, and continuously improve your skills
- Each team works with quarterly OKR, to be crystal clear, fair and honest with your targets
- The annual appraisal is a shared exchange moment, focused on your development

Our take
The MedTech boom has seen many innovations through the 2010s, and Implicity, a remote patient monitoring and cardiac data management company, has definitely had a clear lineage of growth since its founding in 2016.
Implicity develops software to monitor and analyse the information from pacemakers and cardiovascular devices to aid physicians and healthcare professionals through all stages of a patient’s treatment. However, maintaining growth on one product alone is hard, especially with so much Medtech competition. Implicity remedies this with its other product, a data analysis platform that uses AI and cloud technology to analyse the devices linked up to its aforementioned pacemaker and cardio health platform. Implicity leverages this data for use in patient management, clinical studies, and R&D.
Playing both fields of MedTech has diversified the draw for hospitals and companies to Implicity. It continues to update and diversify the double offering via updates to its systems with the company hoping to exemplify the continued innovation that is key to MedTech company growth.
