In the US, many higher education students are not able to fulfil the classes they need to graduate in four years. This results in higher costs, which exacerbates issues surrounding equitable access. Coursedog has set out to solve this with an integrated academic operations platform that helps institutions maximize their efficiency.
Essentially, the company is combatting a scheduling problem. Its curriculum-mapping software helps institutions to make the right classes available for students to complete their courses. In turn, these students are empowered to graduate on schedule - reducing both frustration and cost.
Coursedog has partnered with over 400 higher education institutions, serving more than 3.3 million students in the process. Although there is some competition in the space, the company has a strong footing and established reputation that should support it to find continued success.
