What the job involves
- Be the growth engine that brings Rokt’s AI-powered ecommerce platform to new businesses
- In this role, you’ll prospect into enterprise accounts, craft compelling outreach, lead pitches, and help navigate deals from first conversation to close
- Instead of waiting for leads to come to you, you’ll use AI tools and data-driven insights to identify high-potential opportunities and build a pipeline
- If you’re someone who’s energized by the hunt, motivated by ambitious targets, and excited to sell a product that genuinely transforms how businesses generate revenue, this role puts you on the front line of Rokt’s growth
- To get you started, you will go through a highly curated onboarding program to understand how Rokt’s products and business operates, to give you the context to have meaningful conversations with prospects from day one.)
- The Business Development team is responsible for:
- Building and qualifying pipeline (e.g., researching industries, mapping enterprise prospects, and using AI-driven insights to prioritize the highest-potential opportunities)
- Running deals from first touch to close (e.g., crafting outreach, leading pitches, handling objections, and negotiating terms with enterprise decision-makers)
- Creating partnerships that last (e.g., deeply understanding how prospects operate, showing them where Rokt fits into their growth strategy, and setting up smooth handoffs to account teams)
- Drive New Business: Proactively prospect and generate leads, using AI tools to identify high-potential opportunities and fill your pipeline with qualified prospects
- Support the Sales Cycle: Support the end-to-end sales process from initial outreach and pitching through negotiation and closing. Meet and exceed revenue targets by closing deals with enterprise clients
- Leverage AI & Data: Use Rokt’s advanced analytics and AI to tailor your approach for each prospect. Continuously refine your sales strategy based on market trends and customer data
- Build Strategic Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers at client organizations. Understand their business needs deeply and position Rokt’s solutions as key to their growth and success
- Collaborate for Success: Coordinate with marketing, product, and account management teams to smoothly onboard new clients and ensure they’re set up for long-term success

eCommerce marketing company Rokt is helping brands leverage the power of good timing. With Rokt, brands can present their customers with AI-curated offers and messages at every stage in their transaction, at tailored times of the day, or to market themselves at the point of transaction on other major eCommerce sites.
