Role
Who you are
- A minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in Analytics and Data, or similar like FP&A
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Proven experience in building complex financial and operational models from the ground up
- Exceptional ability in data storytelling and communicating complex financial insights to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders
- A deep understanding of core financial metrics (LTV, CAC, Payback Periods, ROI) and their connection to business objectives
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration, particularly with technical teams (engineering, product) to influence and drive projects
- A strong sense of ownership, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Some experience with Product Analytics and AB testing
- Proficiency in Python for statistical analysis is a plus
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst (Finance & Partnerships) to help us understand what is truly driving business performance
- This role focuses on analysing the operational and product dynamics beneath financial results, turning fragmented data into clear, holistic narratives that explain performance across the business and its partnerships
- These narratives will help shape strategic-level decisions and highlight opportunity areas within the business
- You will work closely with FP&A to add depth to the business performance story, but also help to provide data and reporting to support their planning and forecasting processes
- You will lead analytical deep dives into opportunity areas, explore new ideas through modelling and scenario analysis, and support the Partnerships team with product analytics and commercial evaluation
- Analyse business performance beneath headline financials, helping explain movements in revenue, cost, retention, and partnership performance through underlying operational and product drivers
- Work closely with FP&A on monthly and ad-hoc financial processes, providing deeper analysis and context to support planning, forecasting, and executive-level discussions
- Lead analytical deep dives into specific questions or opportunity areas, using data and modelling to explore how different levers could affect business outcomes
- Support the Partnerships team by analysing partner usage, contribution, and commercial performance, including evaluating potential new partnerships
- Translate loosely defined questions from senior stakeholders into structured analysis and clear, defensible narratives
- Create and maintain dashboards and reporting that prioritise interpretability and insight, and that can stand up to executive and investor scrutiny
- Investigate unexpected changes or inconsistencies in performance, tracing issues back to underlying operational, product, or data-quality drivers
- Help bring clarity and consistency to how key performance metrics are interpreted and discussed across Finance, Product, and Partnerships

Flo is an AI powered period tracking app that allows users to access health insights relating to their cycle by inputting experienced symptoms and cycle dates. AI is leveraged to improve the personalised predictions of upcoming symptoms or periods, allowing the platform to help predict irregular periods or highlight fertile periods in your cycle. They state that the app can also flag when symptoms might need medical attention.
What sets Flo apart from its competitors (Clue, Ovia, Glow) is its ability to change from a period tracker to a fertility tracker, and it can even offer valuable insights postpartum. The app is the number 1 period tracker in the UK and US and the most downloaded female health app worldwide, with over 70 million monthly users. And in the wake of the Supreme Court's 2022 decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Flo has responded to its users' concerns by implementing an anonymous mode to prevent personal details from being linked to fertility data.
Historically, it has proved difficult for companies to get funding for products aimed at women. Flo has largely overcome this and secured significant investment through its funding rounds. This will allow the company to focus on implementing proactive care solutions in the app, amongst other developments, to evolve the service offered.
