Who you are
- This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is passionate about storytelling, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment
- 1–3 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or a similar field
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating creative and impactful content
- Experience managing content within a CMS (e.g., WordPress)
- Familiarity with CRM tools and email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot)
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for fintech or a willingness to learn about the fintech industry
What the job involves
- We are looking for a motivated Content Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team
- In this role, you will support the Head of Inbound Marketing in executing a wide range of content marketing and inbound marketing initiatives
- You'll play a key role in creating compelling campaigns, managing content across platforms, and amplifying our thought leadership in the fintech space
- Assist in the creation of blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and website copy that align with our brand voice and marketing goals. Work with designers, writers, and other stakeholders to create assets like infographics, videos, and eBooks
- Support the end-to-end development and promotion of customer success stories at Taktile
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing content marketing campaigns across various channels (email, social, website)
- Maintain and update content within our CMS and ensure content is optimized for SEO
- Schedule and publish social media posts, monitor engagement, and assist in growing our online presence
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing content for Taktile’s community platform, working closely with designers and other stakeholders
Our take
Taktile’s goal is to ultimately enable its enterprise customers in the financial services industry to adopt machine learning (ML) technology and deliver ML applications. Whilst ML may seem old news, enterprise level businesses in the financial services have been slow to adopt it due to a shortage of expertise, IT resources, and regulatory freedom. The wealth of granular data at their fingertips has, therefore, gone underutilised. With Taktile, these organisations can easily deploy, maintain, and monitor ML applications on a single platform, finally putting crucial ML tools in the hands of enterprise level businesses.
Whilst Taktile is still a young company, it has inspired impressive confidence in some high-profile backers, including Y Combinator, and the founders of industry behemoths like Datadog and Github. Presumably, this is in anticipation of the reported wave of AI transformation about to break over the financial services - nearly 90% of financial services execs, by one report, plan on boosting their AI investments over the coming years.
Platforms like Taktile may well prove a crucial facilitating force in this rising tide, and a fertile ground for new innovation - alternatively, enterprises could follow the lead of more agile startups and take their ML development in-house. The latter may, in fact, seem a more attractive long-term solution, so Taktile will need to ensure its platform remains convincingly superior. However, evidence of sustained investor interest in Taktile came from its November 22 Series A funding to the sum of $20 million.
