Who you are
- Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking an ambitious and visionary Senior Product Manager to join our mission-driven team

- We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead and scale our Frontier product line
- This position requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS, defense tech, or cloud-based platforms
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, edge deployment models, DevSecOps, and security frameworks in the defense ecosystem (e.g., FedRAMP, IL5/6)
- Demonstrated ability to work with federal customers and translate their mission requirements into impactful product solutions
- Proficiency in using data and metrics to drive decision-making and prioritize product initiatives
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Desirable
- Experience leading the full lifecycle of scaling a new product line at a startup, from initial concept through development, go-to-market, and continuous iteration
- Track record of driving product adoption and scaling revenue in a rapidly evolving environment
- Familiarity with startup dynamics, including resource constraints and cross-functional collaboration
- Have a strong interest in matters of national security

- You will be at the forefront of driving the product strategy behind the deployment and scaling of our revolutionary Game Warden platform—an industry-leading tool that is accelerating the secure adoption of mission-critical SaaS solutions for the U.S. government
- As the product owner for Frontier, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the product strategy, ensuring it meets the needs of our federal and commercial customers in the defense and national security sectors
- This is a high-impact role that requires a mix of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and customer-centric innovation
- This role reports to the CTO
- Develop and communicate a compelling vision and roadmap for Frontier, aligning with company goals and customer needs
- Collaborate with federal and commercial customers to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and mission objectives
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy
- Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to drive product development and go-to-market success
- Translate customer feedback and market insights into clear, actionable product requirements and user stories
- Define, track, and report on key product metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure Frontier complies with federal security and compliance standards, such as FedRAMP, IL5/6, and ATO requirements
- Drive the discovery and delivery of new features and capabilities that enhance the value of Frontier for mission-critical use cases
Our take
It goes without saying that national security is of extremely high importance and billions of relevant currencies are fuelled into achieving the highest standards each year. Second Front Systems fast-tracks government access to disruptive, commercially-proven, SaaS applications for national security missions.
Founded in 2014 by two former U.S. Marines, they used experience of outdated technology and systems to power the company's national security mission. Since its founding, Second Front has developed a DevSecOps platform and several AWS GovCloud solutions.
2023-24 funding rounds mean the company can now look to expand into the UK market and position its DevSecOps platform Game Warden as a software bridge between the two nations. The current operations and software used by the two countries are not matched and this ironing out could be transformational for the progress of joint security. The company is described as a market leader and it’s clear it is making huge progress in sectors of great importance.
