Who you are

Proven sales experience with a track record of success (required)
SaaS experience in a similar role (highly preferred)
Strong research skills with the ability to leverage online tools for account insights (Salesloft, SFDC, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, etc.)
A self-starter mindset with the ability to independently manage tasks and drive results
Strong time management and pre-call planning skills to maximize efficiency
Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office, Google Docs)
Exposure to or formal training in MEDDPICC and/or Sandler
Excellent communication skills—positive and energetic phone presence, strong listening abilities, and clear, professional writing

What the job involves

We are looking for a talented and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Account Executives to engage inbound leads and help drive new business
Engage and qualify inbound leads to generate sales opportunities
Research target accounts, identify key stakeholders, and develop relationships with decision-makers
Educate prospects on JFrog’s value proposition, solutions, and products
Conduct strategic conversations with stakeholders from SMBs to large enterprises
Assess prospect needs to ensure alignment with predefined qualification criteria
Schedule meetings and demos for the Sales team with qualified prospects
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to support revenue growth
Collaborate with Sales Managers to share insights and facilitate smooth handoffs in meetings
Keep Salesforce updated to ensure accurate lead tracking and reporting

Although people expect their software to be updated continually, unobtrusively and securely, in practice, this isn't often the case. JFrog was founded in 2008 with a mission to change the way companies release software updates, providing an automation-first platform for collaborative DevOps.

While there are other collaborative DevOps platforms in the market, such as Docker Hub, Azure DevOps and Kubernetes, JFrog stands out with its use of REST APIs to automate the development pipeline, and its combination of DevOps and DevSecOps (development security) in a single platform. This has helped JFrog grow a client base of thousands of companies, which includes firms such as Dell, Netflix, Facebook and the majority of the Fortune 100.

JFrog has enjoyed rapid growth throughout the wider slowdown in the tech sector. It has been focusing on its security product since its acquisition of IoT security specialists Vdoo in 2021, and this has culminated in strong sales for its recently-released security product. It will continue to focus on developing its product and is on track to achieve its aim of becoming the de-facto standard for update management.
