Role
Who you are
- Minimum 7 years in mobile development, including at least 6 years of hands-on React Native expertise
- Proven track record of successfully launching applications on both App Store and Google Play
- Deep knowledge of mobile user experience principles and the distinct characteristics of iOS and Android platforms
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration/deployment, over-the-air updates (such as Expo), and release automation
- Demonstrated ability to excel in dynamic startup settings—delivering quickly without compromising code quality
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for knowledge sharing and team collaboration
What the job involves
- Take full ownership of the React Native mobile app lifecycle, from initial architecture decisions through final deployment
- Partner closely with product and design stakeholders to create high-performance, user-friendly features with strong visual appeal
- Establish and maintain robust testing frameworks, reliability standards, and streamlined release processes
- Guide and develop fellow engineers while fostering an environment focused on high-quality code, creative solutions, and ongoing skill development
- Drive mobile strategy decisions and help steer product roadmap through direct engagement with executive team
- Enhance application speed, tracking, and reliability by leveraging performance metrics and error monitoring platforms

Our take
4G networks transformed our internet experience with faster speeds and better connectivity, and 5G is now taking this further with even quicker speeds. Although 5G is becoming more common, it remains relatively new and not universally available. Networks offering 5G can be costly and might not always match the features of 4G networks.
US Mobile provides 5G mobile data connectivity in the US, claiming to reach speeds of up to 3GB p/s through eSIMs that can be activated remotely. The company offers a range of plans from cheap "talk and text" to unlimited data packages, the latter of which comes with a variety of perks such as free streaming service subscriptions and free international calls.
Whilst the company will face competition from the growing number of 5G network providers, US Mobile stands out by focusing on providing access to all, from unlimited family 3GB p/s packages to individual basic text and call SIMs. The company also guarantees full US coverage, in addition to providing various group pool packages for families and businesses - features which should see it remain a strong option in the market.
