Who you are
- 12 + years programmatic experience at a Media Company, SSP or DSP
- 8 + years CTV experience in business development, partnerships, operations or product
- 8 + year experience in ad technology contract negotiations
- Extensive knowledge of publisher programmatic ecosystem and technologies
- Possess an "ownership" mentality
- Great at balancing strategic thinking and tangible execution
- Comfortable in a room with senior leadership and executives

What the job involves
- As a Senior Ads Business Development Manager - Strategic Ad Partnerships, you will lead our business development relationships and strategy with our largest ecosystem partners with a focus on DSPs
- This individual contributor will be responsible for the strategic ad partnerships on behalf of Roku’s advertising business
- You will develop and execute ecosystem demand partner initiatives with the goals of driving revenue growth and scaling the Roku programmatic business
- Lead relationships, partner management, and growth with our largest programmatic partners with a focus on DSPs
- Own platform partner revenue number and manage both day to day and executive relationships across business development, partnerships, client services and product teams
- Partner with Roku direct sales team to execute internally sold campaigns through DSP partners
- Develop, prioritize, and execute marketplace and partner growth initiatives
- Co-develop and execute quarterly partner actions plans that are aligned for mutually beneficial partnerships
- Work cross functionally with product and operations team to deliver/scale against partner plans
- Negotiate agreements/amendments in collaboration with Roku’s legal, sales and product teams
- Manage assigned business development initiatives from end-to-end
- Clearly communicate the value proposition of Roku’s offerings to partner

Roku provides an integrated streaming service that offers TV channels, movies and third-party streaming services, resulting in an all-in-one streaming platform. The service can be accessed through a variety of customized subscription packages and fees.
Roku stands out in the streaming industry by bringing many competitors together in one package. The startup provides further innovative services such as a weekly TV series named 'Roku Recommends' which uses first-party data to recommend essential viewing to users. Alongside funding filmmakers through its "Change Makers Program", Roku also acquired its own original library of shows through its acquisition of now-defunct Quibi's library in 2021. After successful collaborations with TCL and Hisense, the first in-house "Roku Television" was released in 2023, further exemplifying the streaming company's wider ambitions in the media sector.
