Who you are
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience leading and scaling product marketing in a high-growth B2B SaaS startup
- Deep understanding of the Employee Experience, HR Tech, or Work Tech landscape is a plus
- Exceptional storytelling and messaging skills, with a track record of crafting compelling narratives
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing leadership
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where speed and agility are key
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels

What the job involves
- We are searching for a Head of Product Marketing to lead and scale this critical function globally.
- This is not just another product marketing role; it is a unique opportunity to drive the storytelling, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for a category-defining product in a rapidly growing market
- Define and drive Workvivo's narrative across the employee experience category, translating it into compelling segment-specific value propositions that resonate with our ideal customer profile (ICP)
- Drive the go-to-market strategy for Workvivo, ensuring alignment across marketing, sales, and product teams
- Lead analyst relations, driving strong positioning in Gartner, Forrester, and other key industry reports
- Drive consistent sales wins through sharp competitive positioning and unified messaging that the entire sales team can effectively deliver
- Build and scale a high-performing product marketing team, defining frameworks, best practices, and processes that set us up for long-term success
- Act as a key spokesperson for Workvivo at global events, in media, and across customer and partner engagements with a willingness to travel when needed
Our take
Zoom reworked video conferencing when most people assumed it was a solved problem, with services from Cisco and Skype already ubiquitous in workplaces and homes. However, its videoconferencing infrastructure was simpler to use, faster and more flexible than any previous solution, and it swiftly took the world by storm.
Its success bred competition, however, and companies such as Microsoft and Google, along with numerous smaller communications firms, have begun making inroads on Zoom's formerly commanding lead. Additionally, as workplaces are mostly adopting a hybrid or flexible working strategy, some of its importance as a workplace tool is wearing off and it is recording a gradual decline in daily usage rates.
To counter these trends, Zoom is expanding its business offerings through product development and strategic aquisitions, such as that of Solvvy (an AI and automation service) in 2022. It remains to be seen if this will be enough to turn things around for Zoom: along with many other large tech companies it has recently engaged in large-scale layoffs to realign itself with a difficult economic situation. Still, it is a profitable company and a household name, and its track record of innovation means it is still very much one to watch in the communications space.
