Sales Development Representative, Copia

• Sales, SDR / BDR, customer support, marketing or similar experience is preferred but not required
• Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software

• As an SDR at Copia, you’ll be on the front line of growing our pipeline
• You will own the critical top-of-funnel efforts: identifying, engaging, qualifying leads, and scheduling meaningful meetings for our Account Executives
• You’ll partner closely with marketing, product, and sales to refine messaging and feedback loops
• Success in this role means helping Copia scale while learning deeply about industrial automation, DevOps, and software sales
• Heavy cold calling on a daily basis is a large part of this role
• To be successful, applicants need to have a confident vocal presence and the ability to think on their feet when speaking to prospects
• Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company
• Contact and qualify potential customers
• Set meetings for your Sales Director/Account Executive and follow up on leads
• Track progress towards meeting sales goals
• Collaborate with the sales team and the Director of Sales to develop strategies for reaching sales targetsUse customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities
• Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
• Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management
