Who you are
- This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, sales process experience and excellent communication skills
- 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a similar role at a B2B SaaS company
- Hands-on experience developing websites
- Familiarity with enterprise software ecosystems and integration practices
- Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in working with monolithic/traditional CMS (e.g. Wordpress, Drupal, Sitecore, Adobe AEM) is an advantage
- Strong command of the English language
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Solutions Engineer to join our growing team at Storyblok
- You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our technical capabilities and customer needs
- Acting as a trusted advisor, you will work closely with the sales, product, partner and customer success teams to design and deliver tailored solutions that address the challenges of our enterprise clients
- Partner with our account executives to identify client needs and articulate how Storyblok can deliver value to our enterprise prospects
- Lead product demonstrations and technical deep dives tailored to diverse stakeholder groups, including both technical and non-technical audiences
- Create and present technical proposals, diagrams and proof-of-concept solutions, as well as sample applications, prototypes and code samples to showcase the power and flexibility of Storyblok
- Act as a subject matter expert on the headless content management space, advising clients on best practices, integration strategies, and optimization opportunities
- Assist in elevating the knowledge and capabilities of Storyblok’s implementation partners
- Lead client onboarding sessions and assist in knowledge transfer to customer success teams post-sale
- Work closely with our product team to communicate client feedback and advocate for feature enhancements
- Represent Storyblok at industry events, webinars, and customer forums
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a world-class solutions engineering team
Our take
A headless content management system (CMS) consists of a back-end that stores the content and a decoupled front-end display. This lets the content be streamed to any platform including apps, wearable devices or digital displays via an API. Compared to the other headless CMS solutions, Storyblok’s CMS provides highly customisable content blocks and visual editing tools. This gives developers the flexibility to build fast and reliable digital platforms. It is the first headless CMS to integrate such features into a modern headless architecture.
The company counts Pizza Hut, Adidas, UPC, Greggs and Decathlon amongst clients, alongside many thousands of solo developers that use their CMS. These are powering more than 74,000 projects across 130 countries.
Storyblok intends to use its new funding to expand its presence in the USA after its previous round accelerated expansion in key European markets including Germany and Ireland.
