Who you are
- You’re excited to work with partners and client stakeholders to deliver insurance programs through product requirements
- You collaborate well with engineers, product designers, and external project stakeholders

- You demonstrate strong leadership, communication skills, and business savvy
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS/B2B Enterprise product management
- An ability to understand and craft effective strategies to resolve complex business problems
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with external partners and internal teams
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrate a track record of success building, shipping, and iterating on high-value products in an agile software development environment
- Strong iterative design practices and platform oriented design
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Strong technical acumen with ability to understand platform capabilities and constraints
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Some experience with development technologies such as JavaScript, PHP/Ruby/Python, and SQL
- Some experience with one or more of the following: Segment, Google Analytics, Mixpanel or a comparable web analytics service
What the job involves
- As a Program Delivery Product Manager, you will own the end-to-end success of Sure's enterprise partner programs, serving as the strategic bridge between partners and our internal product development teams
- You'll maintain strong partner relationships throughout the product lifecycle while collaborating with engineers and designers to develop innovative insurance solutions from conception to launch
- You'll ensure efficient technical implementations, manage project timelines, and use strong executive communication skills to align stakeholders and deliver products that reach millions of users worldwide
- Make strategic decisions about feature prioritization to ensure timely delivery while meeting core business requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Sure’s partners and clients, serving as their trusted collaborator
- Manage multiple partner implementations while maintaining high quality standards and timely deliveries
- Effectively represent partner interests within Sure's product roadmap and objectives
- Partner diligently with our internal team to help find efficient technical implementation methods, resulting in reasonable implementation schedules for product releases
- Lead the design, technical development, and launch of innovative insurance products
- Work with division leaders to prioritize platform features, build consensus, and coordinate project timelines
- Develop, monitor and manage detailed project plans and reports to align partners, leadership, internal and external teams on project milestones, scope and status
- Use executive communication skills in reporting project statuses to internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our team is meeting business commitments and delivering high quality products
- Crafting clear, well-written deliverables such as meeting agendas, minutes, business reviews, both for internal and external stakeholder alignment
- Facilitate project meetings internally and externally with partners, teams and Leadership
- Ship insurance products that reach millions of users around the world
Our take
Sure is a software-as-a-service provider that powers API-based digital insurance programs for enterprises and brands. Rather than underwriting the insurance themselves, Sure acts as a platform that enables brands to sell their own insurance packages which are actually underwritten by legacy insurers like Nationwide, Chubb and MetLife.
Not long ago, the company partnered with Zibo to streamline the renters' insurance process for tenants, a smart move in a world that used to be exclusively in person and is transitioning to digital. There are great benefits to having insurance and rent management under one online roof, for landlords and tenants alike. It has since teamed up with PorchPals for embedded package insurance and was recognised as one of the fastest-growing tech companies in North America.
The recent arrival of competitor Boost - founded by Sure's Series A venture capital backer - hasn’t deterred the company at all. In fact, Sure claims to be profitable, and boasts an impressive range of clients – like Tesla, Intuit, Mastercard.
