Financial Controller, Quadient

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of financial reporting
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• 5+ years of experience in a finance leadership or financial controller role
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate tax
• Proven experience working in complex environments with various revenue streams
• Track record of leading process improvements or systems implementations
• Proficiency with SAP, IBM TM1, and Oracle HFM
• Strong systems acumen and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Exposure to international operations or multi-entity environments
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail

Desirable

• This role is pivotal in managing internal controls, leading the accounting team, and providing actionable financial insights in a dynamic and complex business environment with multiple revenue streams
• Lead and manage the finance team, including management accounts, accounts payable, and the cash application team
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures
• Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and support financial forecasting
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders
• Implement systems improvements and drive process efficiency across finance operations
• Support the CFO with strategic projects, financial planning, and business analysis
• Operate effectively in a complex business environment with multiple revenue streams and business units
• Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations and management of working capital
