Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in designing world-class complex commercial apps in-house
- A portfolio featuring examples of product design work
- Impressive design skills across iOS, Android, and web platforms
- The ability to think at a high level about product strategy and articulate design decisions
- The ability to understand technical implications in their design decisions
- The ability to take ownership of design process and work as self-directed member of the development team
- High UX focus and understanding of human behaviour
- Clean visual design sense and an eye for perfection
- Skills in typography and grids
- Figma proficiency should be professional/expert
- A love for problem-solving and to be challenged

- Our Design team knows how to get a holistic view of the customer experience
- We're looking for a Product Designer to lead the design process from discovery to delivery, always keeping in mind our customers and their interests
- Partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing etc. to define customers’ and the business’ problems
- Identifying key metrics for the projects and taking ownership for achieving their success
- Researching and bringing forward new findings and learnings for reaching complex company goals, such as launching in new territories and offering new features
- Designing products that solve problems in a simple and elegant way while taking care of every small detail, from wire-framing to designing end-to-end flows and prototypes
- Running guerrilla and customer testing workshops
- Implementing solutions with the Technical team and presenting actions during design reviews
- Reviewing release performance, identifying learnings, and finding ways to enhance it

By offering quick onboarding and a multi-currency offering, LemFi allows its users to send, receive, hold, convert, and save in both their country of origin and residence currencies.
Recognizing the limitations faced by traditional banks and neo-banks, LemFi offers instant international transfers at favorable exchange rates with no transfer fees. Initially launched in Canada, growing demand for the company's services has allowed it to expand to the UK, and broaden its African payment channels.
The company has secured good funding from prominent investors like Y-Combinator, Zrosk, Global Founders Capital, and Olive Tree. With plans to expand its product offering across the globe, LemFi will further its mission of providing accessible and transparent financial services to migrant communities worldwide.
