What the job involves

10 week internship in NYC
Build and Ship: Work in a fast paced startup environment to build high quality SaaS products that real estate professionals rely on
Own a Project: Take ownership of a summer project, making key product, architecture, and implementation decisions
Collaborate and Learn: Partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to bring ideas to life
Deliver Impact: Work on scalable solutions from broadly defined problems and see your work in production
Dedicated Mentor: You’ll work 1:1 with an experienced engineer who will provide mentorship and support your growth
Real Ownership: Over 10 weeks, early June to mid August, you will choose and lead your own project, making key decisions along the way
Fully In Person Experience: This is a full time, in office internship based at our beautiful New York City HQ in Soho. You’ll work on site five days a week and collaborate closely with our team, gaining hands on experience in a fast paced, learning oriented environment
Showcase Your Work: At the end of the summer, present your project to our executive and engineering teams
Work on Real Features: Beyond your project, you’ll contribute to real features and bug fixes in a production environment
NYC Perks and Fun: From team dinners to museum trips, immerse yourself in the greatest city in the world while working with an awesome team

Our take

The real estate industry was initially slow to get on the tech drive, but the last few years have seen a groundswell of demand from professionals for tools that allow them to save time and labour doing the “background” work that leads to closing transactions. Perchwell’s end-to-end workflow platform capitalises on this.

Its services allow real estate agents, mortgage brokers and multiple listing services (MLSs) to more easily manage distributed data, access market research and work with clients via one API. Perchwell launched in 2015 and showed encouraging growth in New York City, eventually winning the custom of the Real Estate Board of New York, as well as major private companies like Sotheby’s.

Founded in New York, Perchwell received $25 million from the Multiple Listing Service company REcolorado in 2024, after expanding the former's customer base to REcolorado clients in 2022. The aim for Perchwell now is to accelerate the growth of its customer base, whilst developing its AI data and workflow capabilities for real estate agents.
