Role
Who you are
- We are currently seeking an exceptional and motivated Solutions Architect to join our dynamic presales team
- 6+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, systems engineering, or presales/post-sales roles
- Deep technical expertise across enterprise systems (ITSMs, ERPs, CRMs, HCMs) and integration methodologies (REST APIs, automation platforms)
- Experience managing demo or sandbox environments with a focus on performance, scalability, and alignment with product evolution
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell); experience with tools like Workato or Superblocks is a plus
- Solid understanding of identity and access management, SaaS administration, and integration reliability across tools like Okta, M365, and ServiceNow
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects from concept to execution, with excellent documentation and stakeholder management
- Passion for innovation and enablement—excited by the challenge of turning complex ideas into scalable, repeatable solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly across diverse audiences
- Bonus: Experience supporting presales or partner teams with demo tooling or enablement infrastructure
What the job involves
- In this role, you will serve as a guiding technical force—owning, evolving, and innovating the systems, tooling, and environments that empower our field organization
- You'll work at the intersection of engineering, product, and field enablement to ensure our demo infrastructure and presales tooling reflect the cutting edge of the Moveworks platform
- Your mission is to scale the impact of the presales team by providing production-grade demo environments, robust integrations, automation tooling, and scalable assets
- You will leverage your deep technical expertise and strategic mindset to turn prototype ideas into repeatable solutions, drive internal adoption of new capabilities, and help bridge the gap between product innovation and field readiness
- Collaborate with Product and Solutions Engineering to turn high-impact workflows and prototype ideas into standardized tools and environments
- Manage and maintain environments such as demo, labs, and partner enablement instances to ensure they are reliable, scalable, and aligned with current product functionality
- Drive the rollout of new features and capabilities in partnership with Product and Engineering, validating functionality and ensuring presales readiness
- Establish and lead lightweight release/change management processes, including version control and rollback plans, to minimize disruption and ensure consistency
- Act as the internal technical expert on Moveworks' core platform functionality, supporting presales engineers by debugging complex issues, clarifying platform behavior, and surfacing root causes to Product and Engineering
- Oversee external environments (e.g., ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Okta, Slack, Jira, Confluence) used in demo workflows
- Maintain integration reliability, access controls, and consistent configurations across environments
- Continuously expand these systems to support emerging use cases and demonstrate the latest Moveworks capabilities
- Design and build automation for provisioning, resets, and content updates using tools like Workato, Superblocks, and scripting languages
- Create reusable demo assets, modular blueprints, and scalable templates that empower the field to deliver impactful product demonstrations
- Lead efforts to systematize tooling and infrastructure to support growth across the presales and partner landscape
- Collaborate closely with the sales and presales engineering teams to provide unwavering support for strategic initiatives
- Contribute to onboarding content, internal documentation, and enablement sessions to improve field fluency and agility
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to anticipate presales needs and proactively deliver technical solutions that unlock scale
- Rapidly develop and iterate on new integrations, plugins, or workflow accelerators (e.g., agent workflows, custom connectors, or automation packs)
- Pilot advanced functionality before broader field deployment and serve as a critical feedback channel to Product and Engineering
Our take
Moveworks provides IT service and helpdesk support through an AI-driven chatbot. Its system utilizes information about an employee, such as their role and seniority level, to deliver the correct information or carry out processes. Moveworks claims to solve 30% of IT support tickets within weeks of implementation.
In 2024, Moveworks opened a data center in Australia and its service has seen strong uptake from large enterprise-level companies, where IT teams deal with hundreds of requests at a time, helping to minimize backlog and gain back employee time. As more and more workers move from office to home or hybrid, IT support requests have boomed, opening up the opportunity for Moveworks to expand its client pool and provide solutions to help with this change.
Competitors such as Electric offer similar automated IT support services, but Moveworks has invested heavily into creating an AI system that is conversational and easy to use. Automated solutions with machine learning capabilities can also identify cost-saving opportunities. When unused software licenses are estimated to cost companies billions of dollars a year, there is money to be made by identifying and removing these avoidable costs through AI.
