Role
Who you are
- Fluent in Mandarin for verbal communication (written skills not required)
- 3-5 years of experience in human resources, with knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a remote setting
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join the Dora Team
- This role is vital in managing the entire employee lifecycle, including benefits administration, payroll processing, and onboarding and offboarding activities
- You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while assisting in the development and enforcement of HR policies

- Manage employee lifecycle activities, including benefits administration, payroll processing, onboarding, and offboarding
- Ensuer compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Assist with HR policy development, implementation, and enforcement
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
- Provide support to the Recruiter in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Handle administrative tasks such as daily procurement, employee scheduling, document management, and expense reimbursements
Application process
- Recruiter Call: A brief 15-30 minute discussion to go over your background and the role
- Team Interview: A more in-depth session lasting 45-60 minutes with the team you'll be working with, focusing on your technical skills and team fit
- Final Interview: A concluding interview of approximately 45 minutes that may involve higher-level management or final decision-makers
- All interviews will be conducted via Zoom or Google Meeting, accommodating a fully remote recruitment process to best suit candidates globally
