Role
Who you are
- This role is ideal for engineers passionate about building reliable distributed systems at scale
- 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Helm, with deep understanding of container orchestration and distributed systems
- 3+ years of programming experience in Go, Rust, Python, C++, C#, or Java
- 3+ years of scripting experience in Python or Bash for automation and operational tooling
- Strong understanding of data storage, distributed compute, and service reliability principles
- Experience with Prometheus, Alertmanager, and Grafana for monitoring and alerting
- Experience administering scaled deployments of Spark, Ray, Kafka, Flink, or similar on Kubernetes is preferred
Desirable
- Familiarity with large-scale observability and performance frameworks
- Experience implementing automation for deployment, monitoring, and capacity management

- The Data Infrastructure team builds the foundational datasets and platform services that power business intelligence and data science across CoreWeave
- Our mission is to democratize access to trusted data and create an environment where data-driven decision-making thrives at every level of the organization
- We’re looking for a Software Engineer II focused on reliability, scalability, and performance to strengthen CoreWeave’s data platform
- You’ll design, build, and operate the storage and compute systems that support enterprise analytics and AI workloads
- This includes owning our data lake and clustered compute environments, building observability and performance frameworks, and ensuring that our data infrastructure is secure, efficient, and self-healing
