Who you are

5+ years experience as a software engineer including working on back end or full stack systems
Back End focused - experience of working on APIs, databases
Blockchain expertise: building smart contracts, understanding of blockchain architecture, proficiency in basic cryptography principles
DevOps - setting up and maintaining scalable cloud services with some exposure to Azure, Google and AWS
MI/ML - background understanding, understanding and ability to make use of solutions. Languages: be versatile and able to adapt - anticipate working across several languages

Desirable

Knowledge of: Advanced cryptography and security; Camera and other device networking and protocols; Web browser plugins; Agile development experience; Image analysis, forensics a bonus
Entrepreneurial minded, agile and intuitive builder with experience building tools with very little prior art

What the job involves

For this role, we are seeking a mission-driven and ambitious developer preferably with strong experience working with blockchain systems. You will take ownership of the blockchain components of our infrastructure. You will be expected to share your vision to the team and effectively executing on existing product but also to proactively step up and design the future of our bleeding edge provenance layer
Work on all layers of the blockchain stack from consensus to smart contracts
Develop novel solutions that push the state of the art
Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures Document and maintain software functionality, balancing efficiency with the right amount of quality of the application
Early team member working on all layers of the blockchain
