Are you a seasoned Product Manager with deep experience in growing a product environment and a passion for building impactful financial products?
Proven product management experience at a Senior level, with a clear focus in fintech or related industry
Experience scaling products from 0 to 1 (and beyond)
Demonstrated ability to build new products and businesses, not just optimize existing ones
Strong grasp of how to build products that garner user trust – an especially important responsibility within financial services
Comfortability with ambiguity, and the ability to manage both confidence in decision making, with the humility necessary to try things and get them wrong
Show strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying problems and proposing innovative solutions
Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and execution skills — and the ability to motivate teams around bold goals

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to be part of our Product Manager (Fintech) department
Fintech is one of the fastest-growing parts of Jobber, and a core strategic priority for us as a company. We're investing in this growing area because we believe embedding financial tools within our product deepens our ability to help small businesses be successful
Whether it’s helping small businesses get paid using Jobber Payments, getting access to capital to invest in growth, or offering financing to our customers’ customers - we believe small business owners should have seamless access to financial tools that allow them to thrive

Reporting to the Senior Director of Product, Fintech, you will lead the product strategy and execution for Jobber’s newest financial services product
Our fintech products are designed to help small service businesses thrive and succeed in managing their finances, from getting paid to accessing capital
We are looking for a strong product leader to tackle a new problem space and build the next big financial product we offer
This is an opportunity to build a business, not just a feature, with a clear mandate to innovate, differentiate, and scale zero to one
Lead end-to-end product development for a new financial services product, as well as manage an existing feature at scale
Own product discovery and delivery from strategy to execution, aligning cross-functional teams across engineering, design, data, and marketing
Define and execute the roadmap, balancing short-term wins with long-term innovation
Deeply understand your business, synthesizing market, regulatory, and customer data into smart product decisions
Prioritize user and business impact, ensuring every product decision drives value for Jobber’s small business customers
Act as the voice of the customer, especially for small business owners trying to balance their back office admin with doing their craft
Set the foundation for a strategy in an entirely new problem space, acting as the resident expert within the company
