Who you are

This person must demonstrate technical credibility, a strong focus on platform performance (tracking metrics like uptime and latency), and ideally, have expertise in the high-stakes domains of Fraud, Risk, or AML
Must have worked as a Data Scientist/ML Engineer for 3 years
Has 3-4 years of experience as a Product Manager
Experience in building AI applications
Collaborate closely with Data Science, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to launch new AI features, defining pricing, sales enablement, and product marketing materials

Desirable

Experience in the Fraud, Risk, AML, or Compliance domain, especially in FinTech or financial services
Metrics and performance: Track metrics related to the platform's performance, reliability, and developer experience, including uptime, latency, and throughput

What the job involves

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and launching the next generation of GenAI features and client-facing agents, translating complex technical capabilities into actionable products
They will own the ML Platform used to detect sophisticated financial crime vectors (synthetic identity, account takeover, bot attacks) and will be the critical link collaborating across Data Science, Engineering, and Sales (especially aiding the RFP process and Model Governance)

Identity and payment fraud is one of the biggest dangers facing online businesses. Sardine is setting out to solve this problem by building the first zero-day fraud prevention technology.

Sardine's technology traces intrinsic behaviour patterns to identify so-called "bad actors" online, and detects fraudsters using machine-learned fraud scores and user behavior biometrics.

The company calls itself the world's first FaaS (Fraud Detection as a Service), and its solutions are already drawing business from next-gen crypto and financial service institutions. Onboarding these institutions and scaling its customer base at pace will ensure that Sardine maintains its frontrunner position.
