Who you are
- Self-motivated, with strong leadership skills and executive presence
- 7+ years of experience working in a project management capacity in the financial services space
- Enjoy collaborating in defining problems and creating viable solutions
- Extensive project management experience within the financial services industry particularly with securities offerings, services and products
- Participate in a collaborative work style with ability to effectively interact with, and earn trust across the organization
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and multi-task essential; must be very organized and have excellent follow-up and problem-solving skills
- Maintains outstanding judgment, critical thinking, time management, communication and writing skills
- Possesses a business-level understanding of analytics
What the job involves
- Create project plans, develop, and execute strategies for internal coordination, including focus groups, status update meetings, steering committees
- Own and manage operations-focused projects for Prometheum and subsidiaries
- Identify project key issues, roadblocks, and risks timely; proactively manage to resolution or escalate when appropriate
- Track resource usage and budget/expenses as needed
- Be the main point of contact and communication channel for affiliated parties associated with projects while working to align and prioritize project tasks to ensure success
- Manage project governance, and effectively communicate project status to senior management on a regular basis
- Create and present effective and visually appealing presentation materials as needed
- Demonstrate an ability to execute on prioritized / highly visible projects on an independent basis and provide thoughtful analyses, documentation and solutions to drive desired outcomes
- Conducts detailed business analysis involving complex requirements and processes. Present results to all affiliated stakeholders involved in the project
- Partner with technology teams to provide and obtain data requirements. Create documentation to identify solutions, while working closely with your technology counterparts
- Oversees assigned projects from initial concept through final implementation utilizing approved project methodology / tools and within enterprise standards and guidelines
Our take
Prometheum is leveraging blockchain technology to build an end-to-end ecosystem for the trading, custody, and settlement of digital asset securities. Its flagship product, an SEC-registered digital asset Alternative Trading System (ATS), has been in development for a number of years.
This hasn’t dissuaded investors who see the benefit of a platform that enables better regulation of digital asset trading. In doing so, the potential for more widespread participation increases greatly.
The company has had some major victories thus far which could help set it apart, including SEC and FINRA approval, as well as a partnership with Anchorage Digital Bank.
Of course, Prometheum’s success will ultimately depend on the efficacy of its offering, but given the funding already committed to the project and its 2023 announcement that it's searching for up to $7,500,000, in equity investment it’s likely that the company is set to grow rapidly over the next few years.
