Who you are
- 1-3 years of full cycle B2B SaaS sales experience with focus on new logo acquisition, using value selling approach
- Experience working in the Architecture, Construction or Engineering field
- Goal oriented, with a track record of overachievement (President’s Club, Rep of the Year, etc)
- A track record of success in driving consistent activity and pipeline development
- Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions
What the job involves
- As Egnyte continues to grow, we’re looking for an Account Executive 1 - AEC to join our world class sales organization
- You will be responsible for closing new business deals with Small Businesses
- We pride ourselves on being attentive to our existing customers, and you will continue to build on the relationship by identifying and closing new sales opportunities
- You will partner with other internal business lines to secure deals that impact the bottom line here at Egnyte
- You will develop sales plans to effectively and efficiently the accounts within an assigned territory
- You must be able proactively prospect, identify, qualify and develop a robust sales pipeline with minimal supervision
- Meet and exceed your monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
- Utilize your outstanding communication skills, and sales savvy combined with industry and company knowledge to close deals
- Build and maintain close relationship with key decision makers and stake holders internally, and externally
- Understand market trends and interpret data relevant to our initiatives

Egnyte provides an integrated solution for GRDP compliance and data security. The startup reduces the likelihood of digital threats whilst maximizing efficiency for data management and compliance. Through these means, the software can locate, secure and lock down data to ensure security and compliance are taken care of within a single software package.
The company originally focused on data management, offering compliance and security as optional add-ons. However, due to the increasing complexity of data regulations, Egnyte switched to a more unified approach. The company is held in high regard, within an industry set to reach a value of $36.81B by 2029, ranking number 1 in several G2 reports.
