Who you are
- The ideal candidate enjoys streamlining a hectic day and involved partnership with your executives
- 4+ years experience in an administrative support role with a startup, tech, and or/experience in a hyper-growth organization
- Experience in a Cloud organization, or EPD preferred
- Strong executive presence
- Experience with heavy calendaring for multiple principals or teams
- Experience planning team offsites and/or executive travel preferred
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities at once
- Ability to move quickly and make on-the-spot decisions without sacrificing attention to detail
- Track record of consistently going above and beyond
- Great communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a spectrum of personalities
- Strong Google e-mail/calendar/doc skills, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote
- Ability to maintain composure and sense of humor in high-pressure situations
- Passion for Dropbox and helping your leads and their teams as they scale

What the job involves
- Our Admin team works magic behind the scenes to keep Dropbox teams around the world running smoothly. We support leaders across the company and help teams thrive by prioritizing and anticipating needs even before they arise. We shine under pressure and create order from chaos
- We’re looking for a sharp, passionate Administrative Business Partner to support two VPs on our Organize the Cloud team
- You will primarily provide dedicated administrative assistance to two Vice Presidents within the Organize the Cloud.You will be working in a fast-paced environment with passionate team members who are focused on quality and execution
- Coordinate both internal and external calls, meetings, and events
- Heavy calendar management in an ever-changing, fast paced environment
- Plan and execute team offsites, including meetings, dinners, events, and team building activities
- Prepare monthly expense reports for leads and coordinate special projects, as needed
- Conduct involved project work dependent on org needs
- Set up travel and accommodations for executives
- Serve as the face of Dropbox on behalf of our leads and help them build great relationships with internal stakeholders and external contacts
Our take
Dropbox started by helping people bring together their files in one central place. The contents of these folders are synchronised to Dropbox's servers along with other computers and devices where the user has installed Dropbox, keeping the same files up-to-date across all devices.
Nowadays, there are lots of competing companies in cloud storage, and some with better distribution (e.g. Google and Apple). This explains why Dropbox is making a big push to reinvent itself after a fairly disappointing run since its IPO in 2018. The new Dropbox turns folders into "Spaces", which are collaboration hubs for teams, complete with comment streams, artificial intelligence tools and integrations into services such as Slack.
The company continues to build out its offerings through acquisitions, such as that of Formswift, bolstering its end-to-end agreement workflow capabilities. Indeed, It's very clear that Dropbox is trying to make a big move from being just a storage company. This seems to be a necessary move given the competitive nature of the industry it is operating within.
