Who you are

1-3 years of experience in an analytical or operations position

What the job involves

As an Operations Specialist, you will have a direct and tangible impact on local operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes that adhere to regulatory requirements
Efficiency and Quality of Operations: Responsible for ensuring all operations related to driver compliance run smoothly
Process Insights and Improvement: Identifying areas of improvement in processes and aligning with stakeholders on expectations and outputs
Database Accuracy: Maximizing accuracy in our database
Risk Management: Ensuring business risks associated with regulatory compliance are controlled and mitigated
Collaboration: Working closely with both local and international stakeholders in the PHV/vehicles industry, including the France Local Operations team, Bolt Central Operations team, legal team, and public policy team
Processes and Tools: Creating strong and optimized processes and tools to provide visibility and clarity on compliance impact

Bolt is another company in the competitive ride-sharing market that's trying to take market share away from Uber in London and Europe more broadly. They operate in 100 cities and have over 25 million customers

Their strategy is to focus on markets where Uber used to have a monopoly and then they come in with a better offering for drivers

Bolt has the ability to grow aggressively for now as they're well financed. They face a similar to challenge to Uber in that no company in this space has established a profitable business model that isn't propped up by investors with deep pockets. Creating a sustainable model that's better for drivers than Uber is the way Bolt can win
