- We provide full product and system training at the Aira Academy, but we are looking for people who bring the following:
- A strong drive for success, passion for sales and an incredible team spirit
- Confidence working with CRM systems and sales software
- Strong communication skills and comfort selling via video
- A structured and detail-oriented way of working
- Highly results oriented with a strong drive to work towards targets and performance KPIs
- A problem-solving mindset and confidence handling customer questions and objections
- Experience in renewables, energy, or technical sales is beneficial but not essential
What the job involves
- We are looking for a passionate and ambitious person to join our Renewable Sales Team. You will be responsible for conducting sales appointments with customers, helping them understand how they can save money and reduce CO₂ emissions by switching to an air source heat pump and other clean energy technologies
- This is a hybrid home and field-based role, with time split between working from home and travelling to conduct appointments in customers’ homes
- You will work closely with our wider Sales, Planning, Operations and Design teams to deliver an excellent customer journey from initial appointment through to installation
- Conducting face-to-face sales appointments in customers’ homes, as well as virtual appointments where appropriate, with customers interested in heat pumps and clean energy solutions
- Educating and empowering customers on the benefits of air source heat pumps, solar, batteries and other green technologies
- Reviewing customer-provided information such as photos, plans, drawings and specifications to assess technical feasibility
- Carrying out accurate heat loss calculations and preparing quotations
- Converting customer appointments into sales using a consultative, solution-based sales approach
- Identifying opportunities to upsell additional products or services where appropriate
- Managing and maintaining your sales pipeline via our CRM system (HubSpot)
- Collaborating closely with Planning, Operations and Design teams to ensure a smooth customer journey from appointment through to installation
- Delivering an excellent customer experience using the Aira Sales Method
- Managing your own diary and travelling efficiently between customer appointments
- Completing follow-up activity, quotations and CRM updates from home between appointments

Furnaces and air conditioners used in many homes are massive greenhouse emitters, which is a significant problem for our climate. Meet Aira, who are manufacturing and selling energy-efficient and climate-friendly alternatives. It’s not just energy efficiency that is driving the heat pump market; heating cost reductions of up to 40% paired with CO2 emission reductions of up to 75% combine to make air source heat pumps much better value for money.
Aira’s heat pump technology is infused with software that allows it to adapt and regulate to the unique environments in which it’s installed. Affordable payment plans are just another incentive to switch to a cleaner energy source.
Aira’s focus at present is the European market. Its 2024-raised €64M is being used to accelerate the production of Aira pumps in Poland-based plants, whilst focusing its expansion efforts on Germany, Italy and the UK. The substantial capital raised is also being used to help the company develop new products and services for its customers.
