Who you are

We are looking for engineers with strong design and coding skills, who are team players, motivated and self-driven
Extensive experience in Core Java / Kotlin
Knowledge in Frameworks and Libraries: Spring Boot, Spring Security, Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, Kafka, MQ, etc
Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a big plus
Experience in OLAP databases is competitive advantage (ClickHouse, BigQuery, etc)
Strong communication skills, good written and spoken English

What the job involves

As a Lead Engineer (f/m/x) you'll be part of a team building a strategic data platform that consolidates terabytes of data from 50+ systems
This data is then distributed in a unified way to systems supporting mission-critical business use cases across the bank
We have both end of day batch use cases with strict SLAs and near-realtime intraday processing
Our team is a group of versatile engineers who are passionate about software engineering and are able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Develop and deliver full-cycle solutions from design to deployment, including business deliveries, new integrations, building data transformation flows on top of Clickhouse and BigQuery, Java / Kotlin microservices development for Cloud deployment
Participate in code reviews, providing feedback, ensuring high code quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions
Maintain and improve project documentation / perform knowledge sharing across teams
Own SL3 (Service Level 3) support for the product
