Who you are
- We’re looking for a creative, scrappy PR pro who loves variety—someone who’s just as excited to pitch a playful Blippi campaign to consumer press as they are to position Moonbug as a leader in advertising, gaming, and music
- If you thrive on juggling different projects, learning new industries quickly, and solving business problems with communications, this role is for you
- A communications generalist who thrives on switching between consumer and industry PR
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new topics (e.g., kids’ music, gaming, advertising)
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to keep initiatives on track
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to finding fresh angles and tactics
- Comfortable working with executives and influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone to diverse audiences
- Bonus: Experience in kids’ media, entertainment, or advertising

- Run consumer-facing campaigns that bring Blippi to life, spark conversation, and create memorable brand moments
- Elevate Moonbug’s reputation with industry press through thought leadership and coverage across partnerships, gaming, music, and more
- Craft and execute smart communication strategies while maintaining attention to detail
- Translate complex topics into simple, engaging stories for parents, partners, and press
- Coach and prepare executives for interviews, trade shows, and partner meetings
- Manage agencies and cross-functional partners to deliver results across multiple workstreams
- Protect and strengthen the brand by managing issues as they arise
Our take
Moonbug is a global entertainment company producing fun, engaging and safe content for kids. With bases in London and Los Angeles, Moonbug’s video and audio content is produced with the goal of teaching compassion, empathy and resilience to its young audience.
Despite its relatively recent inception in 2018, the company owns properties including Blippi, Little Baby Bum and CoComelon, content that is distributed around the world on platforms including YouTube and Netflix, with the latter’s first series generating over 30 billion minutes of viewing. Its market presence is strong, with accompanying merchandise sold via Walmart and Amazon, and adjacent offerings such as its CoComelon video game.
Following the acquisition of Singapore-based One Animation, Moonbug has worked to increase its footprint in Asia, as well as making plans to take on South America and the Middle East. A 2023 rebrand seeks to raise the profile and recognizability of the brand as it continues both growth and diversification - for instance by partnering with Audible on a series of family-friendly podcasts.
