Analytics Engineer, Veepee

• You have at least 4 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer
• You are fluent in SQL and DBT
• You are curious, pragmatic, and demonstrate an analytical approach
• You possess good statistical knowledge
• You are capable of working independently and handling complex projects
• You are a team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping colleagues when needed
• You are comfortable expressing yourself in French and English, both orally and in writing

Desirable

• As an Analytics Engineer at Veepee Ad, you will be joining a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts and BI Analysts totaling 8 people occupying a central place in the company
• Your mission will be to develop, deploy and maintain our suite of algorithms and pipelines used for a wide range of online advertising purposes, such as multi-label classification, user knowledge and automatic real-time bidding, all in a very challenging Big Data environment in terms of volume (10TB/day) and latency
• Our current stack
• Data pipelines: Spark, Scala, Python, Airflow, Trino, DBT, Kafka, BigQuery
• Dataviz: Microstrategy, Metabase
• Cloud: AWS/GCP
• Machine learning: Python, PyTorch, SparkML
• But also: Docker, NodeJS, GraphQL, ScyllaDB, MongoDB, Postgres, Gitlab, Nomad, Terraform
• Develop data transformation projects with DBT (and/or Python as needed)
• Technically support our Insights team
• Provide support to business/operational teams on Data-related topics
• Take responsibility for the team's analytics projects, from problem definition to execution and maintenance
• Write production-ready code and ensure the quality of the code through code reviews
• Stay abreast with technological advancements to remain at the cutting edge of trends
• Take charge of cross-functional projects involving business teams
• Contribute to the team and company life: becoming a key contact for operational teams to address business challenges
