Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 5+ years of industry experience in data engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehouse like Snowflake
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, Scala, or Node.js
- Experience in building and maintaining large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team
- In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that drive business insights and decision-making
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust data pipelines, optimize data architectures, and ensure data quality and integrity
- Design and Develop Data Solutions: Architect and implement scalable, high-performance data models and ETL/ELT pipelines in AWS
- Data Integration: Integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency across systems
- Optimize Data Infrastructure: Continuously monitor and enhance data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
- Implement Best Practices: Establish and promote data engineering best practices, including data modeling, coding standards, and documentation
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
