Who you are
- Confirmed Financial Leadership: You have significant experience, ideally as a CFO coming from a Scale-up with successful Series B/C fundraising, or a solid background in Investment Banking, or as a Manager/Director in Audit/Transaction Services (TS) within a top firm, with substantial experience serving high-growth tech companies
- M&A Expertise is Non-Negotiable: Proven track record of piloting and successfully integrating acquisitions
- US GAAP Mastery: Solid knowledge and practical experience with US accounting standards and the US financial environment
- Strategic Visionary: You possess strong business acumen, moving beyond mere accounting to provide strategic financial direction that drives company growth and profitability
- Language: Fluent in English (professional working proficiency is essential)
What the job involves
- We are hiring our Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
- We are looking for an experienced leader to own the financial function, drive our US growth, and structure the company for scale and acquisitions
- You will take over the financial responsibilities from the COO, bringing high-level expertise and industrializing Finance to support our next phase as a true scale-up
- You will be a core member of the Executive Committee (Codir/Comex), acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board of Directors
- In addition to traditional economic steering and financial reliability, your mission will heavily focus on transformation and growth:
- You'll take complete ownership and leadership of the Finance function
- Move from a managed function to an autonomous, strategic, and mature department
- Optimize, automate, and secure all financial processes, tools, and flows to support rapid growth and the rigorous demands of the US market (internal control, compliance, etc.)
- Lead and improve financial reporting for internal stakeholders (Comex, Codir) and, critically, for investors
- Take charge of and pilot the budgeting process, financial planning, and business plan revisions
- Performance analysis: Identify key levers, model variances, and drive remediation actions
- Define and oversee the financial and tax structure in the United States (subsidiary, integration, local regulations)
- Ensure compliance and financial reporting, taking into account US standards (US GAAP)
- Be the guarantor of key SaaS and MedTech financial indicators (remote monitoring) in the context of US expansion
- Pilot all phases of acquisition: financial identification of targets, valuation, comprehensive due diligence (financial, tax, legal)
- Lead risk analysis and financial modeling for post-acquisition integration
- Work closely with the CEO and investors on the financial structuring of deals
- Prepare for future fundraising rounds and manage relationships with investment funds (French and international), integrating the complexity of a multi-entity structure
- Optimize the Cap Table and manage shareholder relations, especially in the context of acquisitions
- Management: You'll lead, mentor, and structure the existing Finance team (3 people), ensuring their upskilling and professional development

Our take
The MedTech boom has seen many innovations through the 2010s, and Implicity, a remote patient monitoring and cardiac data management company, has definitely had a clear lineage of growth since its founding in 2016.
Implicity develops software to monitor and analyze the information from pacemakers and cardiovascular devices to aid physicians and healthcare professionals through all stages of a patient’s treatment. However, maintaining growth on one product alone is hard, especially with so much MedTech competition. Implicity remedies this with its other product, a data analysis platform that uses AI and cloud technology to analyze the devices linked up to its aforementioned pacemaker and cardio health platform. Implicity leverages this data for use in patient management, clinical studies, and R&D.
Playing both fields of MedTech has diversified the draw for hospitals and companies to Implicity. It continues to update and diversify the double offering via updates to its systems with the company hoping to exemplify the continued innovation that is key to MedTech company growth.
