Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years of experience in assistant role, creative operations, project management, and/or related roles, preferably working in the music, sports or entertainment industry
- Familiarity with design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere), Keynote, and Canva (Preferred)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills; exceptional presentation skills (visual design oversight & oral presentation); clear and concise
- Adaptable; can roll with the punches and tweak approach to project when necessary
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
- Proven track record of developing collaborative relationships through gaining trust and successful delivery
- COVID-19 vaccination series and booster shot are a mandatory requirement for this position
What the job involves
- Roc Nation, a Live Nation joint venture, is seeking a high caliber candidate for our Executive Assistant role — the incumbent needs to be well-spoken, with strong verbal and written communication skills, able to manage a high volume of projects and is a self-starter with excellent client interfacing skills. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be willing to handle administrative responsibilities and work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Manage a high-volume calendar - organize meetings including scheduling, sending reminders, creating agendas, taking meeting minutes and providing documents/recaps to attendees
- Answer and respond to phone calls, communicate messages and information to the Executive
- Prioritize projects and respond when necessary
- Coordinate and finalize travel arrangements for Executive and clients
- Support process of Marketing, Communications and PR team
- Curate and organize essential team materials, maintaining structured Google Drive folders to promote streamlined collaboration and resource accessibility
- Manage multiple projects at a time and prioritize workload to ensure that project timelines are met
- Serve as primary point of contact for both internal and external projects, as well as, the main liaison between internal departments and external clients/partners
- Track industry trends and make relevant recommendations for projects and brands
- Generate and continuously maintain reporting data for respective projects, reporting to upper management, as necessary
- Work across the company and multiple business verticals to roll out new initiatives and meeting targets (as directed)
- Assist with the preparation and execution of events spanning all Roc Nation verticals
- Must be willing and able to travel to assist projects at the various stages
- Support related administrative and department needs

Live Nation is the world's leading live entertainment company, sitting at the top of the market in live events and ticketing. Formed in 2009, it is a major international company, with key business segments made up of concerts, ticketing, and sponsorship and advertising.
Despite its dominant position in the market, the company saw an 84% drop in revenue during 2020 and the closure of live events. Since then, however, demand has been stronger than ever for their ticket sales. This is a reflection that live events remain a clear priority for consumers and has been further reflected in Live Nation's acquisitions of companies - like Goodlive - that complement and bolster Live Nation's portfolio.
In addition to live events, a key area to watch for Live Nation will be the rise of online concert streaming, like that undertaken by competitors such as Driift. Major festivals such as Glastonbury have trialled online concerts with mixed reviews. If it proves successful, this could be a major new section of the entertainment market and a big potential part of Live Nation's future ventures.
