DevOps Engineer, Nexxen

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role, with a focus on automation, CI/CD, and cloud environments
• 2+ years of experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Route 53, ECS, CloudWatch, and AWS Glue to architect and manage scalable cloud
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git) and experience with branching strategies
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Desirable

• In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support our development teams
• You will work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and IT operations to automate workflows, enhance system reliability, and ensure seamless delivery of applications in a cloud-based environment
• Infrastructure Automation: Design and implement automated infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to support scalable and reliable systems
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools to automate code testing, deployment, and monitoring processes
• Cloud Management: Manage cloud environments in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure high availability, security, and performance of applications
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk to proactively identify and resolve system issues
• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with development teams to understand project requirements and provide support for build and deployment processes, while promoting best practices in DevOps and agile methodologies
• Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security controls within the CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure to comply with industry best practices and regulatory standards
• Incident Management: Respond to and resolve production issues, providing root cause analysis and recommendations for improvements
