Senior Test Tooling Engineer, Tiger Data

• Proven track record as a Senior Release Engineer, QA Lead, or similar role with end-to-end ownership of release processes

• We're seeking an experienced Senior Release Engineer to take ownership of our release infrastructure and processes across our core products: TimescaleDB, Toolkit, Data Tiering, and Tiger Lake
• In this role, you'll be the driving force behind transforming our CI/CD pipelines and release workflows into seamless, automated operations while building robust testing and benchmarking infrastructure that ensures product quality at scale
• You'll own and evolve our CI/CD infrastructure across TimescaleDB, Toolkit, Data Tiering, and Tiger Lake built with GithUb Actions
• Take full ownership of the release process with a focus on automation and making releases a no-op
• Drive the packaging process
• Extend and maintain a comprehensive testing infrastructure to validate TimescaleDB performance and compatibility against Cloud environments
• Design and implement stress testing infrastructure from the ground up. Execute stress tests, analyze results, and own the signals—feeding regression insights back to engineering teams
• Take ownership of our benchmarking framework and elevate it to the next level of sophistication and reliability
