- We are seeking a motivated and talented Platform Engineering Summer Intern with a passion for Python and Fintech
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with public cloud environments (GCP/AWS) or a strong desire and aptitude to ramp-up on them
- Experience developing complex backend applications
- Experience with pandas, numpy, scipy
- Familiarity with data processing pipelines and workflows (Apache Airflow or similar)
What the job involves
- In this role you will be working with our backend team to develop and improve our fintech platform
- Your main responsibilities will include designing, developing and maintaining backend systems, data pipelines, and APIs, working with databases and cloud infrastructure, and collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration of our platform
- Design, develop and maintain backend systems, data pipelines, and APIs using Python
- Work with databases and cloud infrastructure to ensure system scalability and availability
- Write and maintain clean, modular, and efficient code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of our platform
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's best practices
