Who you are
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis within the gaming or related industry is desirable but not essential
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling and analysis
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders through your reporting
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficient with Excel
- Power BI and Tableau experience is a plus
- Ideally based in Malta with the ability to come to the office 2x a week
What the job involves
- Reporting to the Head of Finance, will play a crucial role supporting financial decision-making processes, providing insightful analysis, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
- You will collaborate with various departments to develop budgets and forecasts, analyse financial reports and much more
- Collaborate with various departments (Ops/ Product/ Commercial etc) to develop budgets and forecasts and monitor budget performance
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (management accounts, budget v actual, cashflow forecasting)
- Provide the Head of Finance and the CFO with insightful commentary on financial results and trends which can be reported to C Level
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to support strategic decision-making
- Evaluate the financial impact of proposed business initiatives and investments throughout the organization’s ambitious growth phase
- Provide recommendations for optimizing financial performance (revenue and margin analysis, cost analysis etc)
- Analyse and report on cost trends, identifying opportunities for cost savings
- Collaborate across all departments to understand and manage cost structures
- Develop and maintain cost allocation methodologies
- Build and maintain financial models to support long-term strategic planning
- Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of various scenarios on financial outcomes
- Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business success
- Provide ad hoc support and analysis as required
