Who you are
- Experienced in sales development: You have 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 1–2 years managing or leading a BDR/SDR team
- Results-driven leader: You thrive in a metrics-driven environment, and you know how to set clear goals and inspire your team to achieve them
- A coach at heart: You enjoy mentoring and developing talent, and you have a proven track record of helping team members grow
- Strategic thinker and doer: You’re comfortable balancing high-level strategy with day-to-day execution
- Tech-savvy: You have hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and outbound sales tools (e.g., SalesLoft, Outreach)
- Collaborative communicator: You’re skilled at building relationships and working cross-functionally to achieve shared objectives
What the job involves
- As our BDR Lead, you will play a critical role in driving pipeline growth and building a high-performing Business Development team
- You will be responsible for managing, coaching, and scaling a team of BDRs to generate qualified leads for our sales pipeline
- This is a leadership role with both strategic and operational responsibilities, ideal for someone passionate about coaching talent, optimizing sales processes, and driving results
- Lead and coach a team of BDRs: Provide hands-on mentorship to your team, helping them hit and exceed pipeline goals
- Drive pipeline growth: Own the team’s outbound sales targets by ensuring consistent lead generation and high-quality outreach strategies
- Develop sales processes: Establish scalable workflows, templates, and best practices for prospecting, outreach, and lead qualification
- Recruit and onboard top talent: Hire, train, and onboard new BDRs to ensure their success in the role
- Monitor and analyze performance: Use data and analytics to track team performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize campaigns
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to align on goals, campaigns, and handoff processes for leads
- Stay on top of trends: Keep up with industry best practices and emerging tools to enhance the team’s effectiveness and efficiency
