What the job involves
- Reports To: Senior HR Generalist
- As a People Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our People Operations and Talent Acquisition teams. This is a hybrid and high growth role which will be pivotal in managing various matters including recruiting coordination, onboarding, immigration, employee-related inquiries and offboarding
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation, documentation and procedural tasks
- Support organizational changes and updates, ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping
- Conduct compliance audits and maintain documentation storage systems
- Handle snail mail and other correspondence related to HR functions
- Ensure all HR processes and documentation are up to date and comply with legal and company standards
- Provide general support for employee relations issues, including addressing inquiries and facilitating resolutions while maintaining utmost confidentiality and professionalism
- Assist with general benefit inquiries and liaise with the benefits team and providers as needed
- Manage internal requests for proposals and other administrative tasks
- Provide entry-level assistance for immigration processes, including documentation and communication with legal partners
- Demonstrate the company's core values and culture while upholding the department's high standards
- Oversee the daily operations of the Greenhouse applicant tracking system, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of job applications
- Manage job postings, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and background check process
- Generate and analyze recruitment metrics to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the department or organization

Electric vehicles are predicted to account for nearly 30% of new vehicle sales by 2025, which means the need for EV charging infrastructure is on the rise. ChargePoint supplies just such infrastructure, with hardware, software and mobile solutions for "every charging need".
Boasting the world’s largest EV charging network, the company also provides complimentary services for drivers, businesses and fleets. These include, for example, a mobile app for finding and paying for charging, and project management tools for making the switch to EVs.
Having already established a strong presence in the lucrative and expanding EV charging market, ChargePoint is well-positioned to support the electric mobility revolution. It serves a range of clients across North America and Europe, including Wells Fargo which it partnered to create financing solutions for EV infrastructure. November 2025 saw funds secured that will support its goal of reaching profitability in the near future.
