Role
Who you are
- Experience as a Cloud Software Engineer, Backend Engineer or similar role
- Experience in software development with .NET/C#
- Experience with designing and developing scalable cloud-based solutions, ideally with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with API development and integration
- Experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Azure DevOps
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Experience with unit testing and testing frameworks
- General understanding of data protection, data security and governance
- Experience in working within an agile and fast-paced environment
- Experience in a DevOps team with end-to-end responsibility for the entire product lifecycle
- Bachelor or Master of Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Business Informatics, or similar
- Self-organization, team collaboration, agile mindset, problem solving, positive attitude and high motivation
- Very good communication skills in English, German is a plus
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Cloud Software Engineer to join the growing development team
- You will work in an agile team with latest cloud-native technologies to build modern, scalable and high-quality solutions for our customers
- Our team has an end-to-end responsibility for the system, including system design and architecture, writing code with high standards, hosting the services in the Azure cloud, and guaranteeing service reliability and security. There is plenty of space for your own ideas to provide the best user experience
- Be part of an agile DevOps team with end-to-end responsibility along the complete product lifecycle
- Design and develop cloud solutions and backend services
- Create technical concepts and solutions according to business requirements
- Implement and integrate APIs for external systems
- Collaboratively work with frontend engineers to define APIs and data models
- Take responsibility for high code quality and long-term maintainable software
- Ensure high product reliability, stability, scalability and security
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions
- Drive automation, e.g., testing, monitoring and deployments

The logistics of supply chains are a massive and complex part of business operations, but they are typically still run by legacy processes. Hoping to help empower a new age of digital supply chain logistics, Loady provides solutions suitable for a range of industries.
The company's approach is to employ standardized logistics requirements to simplify freight purchasing and transport. Its digital portal enables clients to use these standardized logistics requirements digitally to increase efficiency, as well as gain a comprehensive view into contract information, delivery times, security and more.
This not only makes logistics more streamlined for businesses, but can help contribute to lowering freight-related emissions by reducing wasted mileage and empty containers. As a spin-off from BASF's business incubator, Loady has a good foundation to build on, and Seed funding will enable it to begin expanding operations.
