What the job involves
- We are seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Customer Success Manager (m/f/d) to support our small to medium customers on the French market here at Pliant.
- The ideal candidate will focus on implementation, building strong relationships, identifying upsell opportunities, and collaborating with the Business Development team to drive growth
- Work with our Customer Success Manager and serve as the primary point of contact for small and medium customers, ensuring their successful onboarding and ongoing satisfaction
- Help us onboard customers of our partners
- Assist in the implementation of customer solutions, providing guidance and support throughout the process
- Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster long-term loyalty and satisfaction
- Identify and capitalise on opportunities for upselling additional products or services
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify new business opportunities and support the company’s growth initiatives
- Help regularly monitor customer metrics and respond to any signs of dissatisfaction or challenges
- Act as the customer advocate, ensuring their voice and feedback are considered in product development and service improvements
- Create and maintain accurate customer records and documentation in CRM systems
- Conduct regular check-ins and review meetings to ensure customer success and continued alignment

The corporate credit card industry, historically dominated by giants like AmEx, has seen rapid disruption and growth over recent years. An influx of VC investment boosted smaller outfits like Divvy and Brex Inc. to multi-billion dollar operations, and this has cracked open the market to a host of smaller fintech startups.
Pliant is a German company entering the scene, but it’s a competitive one. It's hoping to stand out by prioritising seamless software integrations, competitive cashback, and a new optional feature offsetting travel-related CO2 emissions. The latter is incredibly novel and has undoubtedly won the company some press in an increasingly sustainability-oriented climate.
Pliant’s offering of both physical and digital cards, as well as its suite of advantages and services, has enabled the company to successfully adapt to the growing payments market. The company has, thus far, entered seven additional European markets and expanded its customer portfolio sixfold. Following successful funding rounds, Pliant is set to further expand operations and its business reach, with a focus on the US.
