Who you are
- 4+ years experience working within a FP&A role or business analysis
- Previous experience with Financial/Business Reporting/Management Reporting
- Exceptional data analysis & visualization skills
- Project and stakeholder management skills
- Financial modeling, budgeting and planning
- SQL & Pigment skills are beneficial
- Has a high attention to detail, is hardworking and motivated
What the job involves
- The Moonfare Finance Team is responsible for all financial planning, budgeting and reporting activities
- We are searching for a FP&A Manager to join our dedicated team in Berlin to own financial reporting at Moonfare, help teams across the business understand their data and drive automation
- Own Management Reporting at Moonfare, story-telling of business status-quo with commercial, financial and operational data
- Prepare key weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual reports for the Board, Leadership & Shareholders
- Own the budgeting and reforecasting process at Moonfare, maintain the business model on Pigment, our EMP tool
- Partner with the data team to ensure high data quality that will allow our teams to make informed decisions and plan accurately
- Collaborate with all department leads to drive budget discipline through effective business partnering
- Support Moonfare’s path to profitability and sustainable growth

Many high-level investment opportunities are solely reserved for financial institutions. This means that for most private investors, top-tier equity funds are completely out of reach. Moonfare solves this problem by giving individuals access to institution-level investing.
Moonfare's platform allows investors to take part in funding rounds offered up by some of the biggest names in investing, including The Carlyle Group and Tiger Global. The company offers investment opportunities with investment minimums as low as €50,000, which is about 100x less than the traditional minimum - so while not everyone can afford to make investments through the company, a much larger pool of people have the ability to enter private markets.
Moonfare is headed up by an impressive team of KKR, BlackRock, Amazon and J.P. Morgan alums, which adds significant credibility to their product. The company has also raised significant investment, which will be used to fund new product development and market expansion.
