Who you are
- If you enjoy modern frameworks, clean architecture, fast performance, and collaborative problem solving, you will thrive here
- 10+ years of professional web development experience, with strong proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks. Experience with Vue or Nuxt is preferred
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and component based development, including use of Storybook
- Strong experience with headless CMS platforms, ideally Contentful, including content modeling and integration
- Experience creating and maintaining scalable design systems and component libraries
- Comfort working with APIs, serverless patterns, authentication, and third party integrations
- Hands on experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and modern hosting environments such as Vercel
- A strong understanding of web performance best practices and accessibility principles
- Ability to collaborate across cross functional teams and communicate clearly with technical and non technical stakeholders
- A user focused mindset and a passion for building high quality digital experiences
- Comfortable using AI assisted development tools to increase speed, improve code quality, and streamline workflows, while still applying strong engineering judgment and best practices
Desirable
- Experience with Algolia, HubSpot, Docebo, or documentation platforms such as Zoomin or Document360
- Familiarity with experimentation and personalization tools
- Experience working in fast paced or high growth environments
- Basic understanding of analytics tools such as GA4, BigQuery, or Looker Studio

- VAST Data is looking for an experienced Fullstack Web Developer to join the team responsible for vastdata.com and our expanding set of marketing and product web properties
- This role is central to how customers, partners, analysts, and prospects experience our brand
- You will help scale a high visibility site that evolves quickly and demands thoughtful engineering
- You will report to the Director of Web
- Develop and maintain high scale websites and applications using our core stack: Nuxt 3, Vue, Tailwind, Vercel, and Contentful
- Implement responsive, accessible, and high performing front end experiences with strong attention to detail
- Build and evolve reusable components within our internal design system
- Partner with Design and Web Product Management to evolve our internal design system, including component architecture, documentation, and implementation standards in Figma and code
- Work closely with Web Product Management, Design, SEO, and broader Marketing and Product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Support and optimize integrations across the stack, including Contentful APIs, Algolia search, HubSpot forms, GA4, BigQuery, Qualified, and other SaaS platforms
- Improve our development infrastructure, including repositories, CI/CD workflows, and deployment processes
- Participate in the full agile development lifecycle, including sprint planning, estimation, coding, testing, code reviews, and release management
- Contribute to documentation, process improvement, and technical decision making
- Help evaluate new tools, frameworks, and technologies that keep VAST ahead of industry standards
- Support QA, cross device testing, and performance tuning to ensure reliability at scale
Our take
VAST Data is building what you might call the plumbing for the AI era - a purpose-built data platform that unifies storage, compute, and data services in a single, scalable system. With its disaggregated, shared-everything (DASE) architecture, it allows companies to scale their storage independently from compute, meaning AI workloads can grow without behind held back by infrastructure bottlenecks. And their platform delivers flash-speed performance, multi-protocol access, and enterprsie-grade reliability, all while keeping costs reasonable.
This architecture is especially relevant now and the company has recently partnered with GMI CLoud as a key data infrastructure provider for GMI's ambitious new "AI factory" in Taiwan. The data centre is expected to house 7,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUS and will lean on VAST's exabyte-scale storage to handle data for model training, inference, and real-time processing.
On top of this, VAST has secured some major partnerships and deals that really position it strongly for the future of AI infrastructure. In November 2025, it struck a $1.17B agreement with CoreWeave, making VASt the primary data foundation for their GPU cloud. It also expanded its collaboration with Google CLoud to offer its AI Operating System as a fully managed service, allowsing global data access across on-prem and cloud environments using VAST DataSpace. These moves suggest VAST isn't just keeping up with AI demand but shaping the infrastructure that will power the next generation of large-scale, distributed intelligent systems.
