Who you are
- Iterable is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Director who excels in value-based selling and leadership
- We are seeking a candidate who has demonstrated success in past sales Enterprise leadership roles, consistently achieving quotas, hiring and developing sales talent, and possessing a strong background in complex sales motions
- We are seeking someone who not only consistently exceeds sales metrics but also builds a strong culture and foundation in the EMEA market
- Nice to have but not mandatory - B.A./B.Sc. in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, related fields, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of sales management experience in a high-tech startup environment
- 8-10+ years of quota-carrying B2B enterprise software sales experience
- Strong track record of running a net-new business acquisition team
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding against quota and outlined metrics
- Previous experience with enterprise email marketing and/or marketing automation solutions - preferred but not essential
- Being bilingual is an advantage in an EMEA language, such as French, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch
- Strong experience working with Salesforce.com and other CRM platforms
- Acquainted with Challenger Sales Methodology and MEDDPIC for qualification and deal management
- Team player who’s comfortable working with all department leaders in a startup environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to be an inspirational leader
- Willing & able to travel throughout EMEA as & when required for work-related events and meetings, with the ability to travel to the USA also
What the job involves
- Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will need to be a team-oriented management professional who works cross-functionally with key members of the Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales Operations teams
- You will be the Sales Leader for the EMEA North and South Sales team
- Provides directional leadership for a growing team of Enterprise Account Executives or Mid Market Executives
- Oversee the daily activities and performance of each Account Executive
- Consistently meets/exceeds the outlined metrics as a manager - ARR closed won / Pipe generation / Linearity / Forecast Accuracy
- Continue to build and strengthen your team through recruiting, hiring, and development strategies. Accountable for building your own bench for backfills and expansion
- Drive operational excellence through constant process innovation and technology toolsets
- Cultivate strong partnerships with Business Development, Solution Consulting, Marketing, our Partner network, and the Iterable Executive team. Proactively identify and implement new strategies to improve the sales cycle
- Strong organisation/prioritisation skills; proven ability to consistently meet deadlines
