Role

Who you are

  • Minimum of 1 year of SDR experience within the technology sector
  • At least 1 year of experience tracking and managing activities in a CRM system
  • Fluency in English and advanced proficiency in German (minimum requirement)
  • Proven ability to convert leads into viable sales opportunities
  • Demonstrated expertise in outbound prospecting using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other relevant technologies
  • Experience thriving in a remote work environment
  • Track record of successfully working toward and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Good communication skills with a personable and outgoing phone presence
  • Highly motivated and driven to build a strong sales pipeline
  • Self-disciplined and capable of excelling in a remote, independent work environment
  • Proactive "can-do" mindset, with creative ideas
  • Any qualification or certification, however, experience will be highly regarded

Desirable

  • Proficiency in using HubSpot, LinkedIn and Sales Navigator

What the job involves

  • As a Sales Development Representative, you will proactively build Payara’s sales pipeline by researching and contacting prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to assess mutual fit and qualify leads for the sales team
  • You will also nurture relationships with potential customers and engage the open-source community to maximize sales opportunities while collaborating with marketing for broader outreach
  • Build and expand Payara’s sales pipeline by leveraging phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to assess prospect needs and determine mutual fit
  • Conduct thorough research to identify and connect with marketing-qualified leads, uncovering new sales opportunities through diligent networking
  • Qualify both inbound and outbound leads, cultivating a robust pipeline to drive business growth
  • Transition qualified leads seamlessly to the Sales team for further engagement
  • Establish and nurture lasting relationships with potential customers as their first point of contact, setting a positive tone for their experience with Payara
  • Engage and connect with new leads on social platforms, including LinkedIn and Twitter, to broaden outreach
  • Actively participate in the open-source community to generate leads and enhance sales potential
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to amplify the impact of outbound efforts and extend reach
